With the C-17 out of commission once again, the population at McMurdo swells to 1300. Meanwhile the arrival of the fueling tanker brings with it 120 members of the Coast Guard putting a further strain on the galley as the town becomes overrun by military personnel.
As many of the people on base begin planning their trips back home, things at McMurdo slow down for a bit before the arrival of vessel and C-17s throws everything into chaos.
