Exploring the Pacific Northwest

Since America has not been able to get a handle on the COVID-19 pandemic, traveling is not only difficult, it is dangerous and irresponsible. Fortunately for me, Oregon (and the Pacific Northwest in general) is known as one of the most beautiful places in the country.

The PNW’s reputation as a Mecca for those who love the outdoors offers endless activities to do across the state; from hiking to biking, kayaking to skiing, the possibilities are endless.

The region’s climate makes it a literal cornucopia of fruits and vegetables to try. The “Kale-eating liberals” this area is known for also means finding the freshest produce possible is relatively easy at one of the numerous farmer's markets across the state.

With that in mind, I plan on taking full advantage of the opportunity afforded to me by the current state of the world to travel far and wide across the region to do things I’ve never done and to cook with the freshest, local ingredients possible.

Stay tuned to the blog and my instagram for upcoming travel journals, pictures, and recipes highlighting the best of the Pacific Northwest!
